Inspired by the water channels built to drain the land in the peatlands, causing the land to sink and the CO2 to be released from the land.
Layers of pigments were painted and screen printed onto linen. The sky area has the words ‘fen fall’ subtley printed onto it and the bubbles of CO2 are hand stitched on top. Hand stitching was added to the tumbling rectangles.
